For shortcuts within Transpose, enable Shortcuts in Settings and give the Transpose window or Side focus. When typing in a text field, the keys remain available for your text.

On the numeric keypad, 0–9 perform the same actions; −/+ adjust speed.
Return to start: with an active loop, first jump to the loop start. Press again quickly to jump to 0:00.
A–B: press once to set A and again to set B at the current playback position. With an active A–B loop, the same action stops the loop. See Loops.

Global shortcuts in Chrome
Regular shortcuts work when Transpose has focus. Global shortcuts also work from another app. Chrome does not need focus.
- In Transpose, open Settings → Shortcuts → Set extension shortcuts. You can also enter
chrome://extensions/shortcutsin Chrome. - Find Transpose and assign a key combination to an action.
- Select Global if Chrome offers this option.
Global shortcuts require Studio access for the song. Keep the Transpose window or Side open and connected to the song. They control the selected tab in your last-focused Chrome window, so leave the song selected there.

Custom key combinations
Open Settings → Shortcuts and enable Custom shortcuts. Choose an action and press your preferred combination. If it is already assigned, Transpose asks whether to move it. You can disable or restore each binding. This works in the Transpose window and in Side.

MIDI knobs
MIDI is available for Studio songs. In addition to the actions in the table, MIDI offers a control binding for Volume, Speed, Transpose, Pitch, Formant and Vocal Reducer. This controls both directions with one knob. Read MIDI to connect a controller and learn bindings.
