Varispeed

Link Pitch to Speed so the pitch changes with the playback speed.

StudioSide

Change speed and pitch together, like a record player: slower sounds lower and faster sounds higher.

Move the pointer over the card to reveal its extra buttons.

  • Turn on Varispeed to link Pitch and Speed.
  • Change Speed and the pitch follows; change Pitch and Speed adjusts with it.
  • When Varispeed is on, you can transpose up or down by no more than 2 semitones.
  • Formant and Vocal Reducer are temporarily disabled.
  • Stem Mix switches off and is unavailable while Varispeed is on. After turning Varispeed off, turn Stem Mix on again yourself. Prepared stems, the selected part and the mix balance are retained.
