Formant

Change the tonal character of a voice or instrument without changing its pitch.

StudioSide

Change the tone of a voice or instrument without raising or lowering the melody.

Move the pointer over the card to reveal its extra buttons.

Collapsed Formant card in Side
  • Changes Formant by 5 points.
  • Press and hold the value, then drag to change it.
  • Reset returns Formant to 0.
Expanded Formant card in Side
  • Turn on Mouse wheel control in Settings; place the pointer over the slider and scroll to change Formant.
  • Turning on Varispeed temporarily disables Formant.
